Snowy Mountains Spirits Tawny Single Cask Australian Single Malt Whisky (500ml)

ABV. The casks previously held Grenache, Mataro and Shiraz for about ten years before being recoopered and filled with delicious spirit. From the first nosing you quickly realise this has been matured in an ex-Tawny cask. It has floral sweet opening notes and is soft, rounded and sweet on the tongue. Think peaches and stone fruit. The following tannins are reminiscent of its tawny cask provenance. This whisky has a long finish with hints of wood and great legs. It has been described as 'Very moreish. A cracker!'
