Our Directors’ Reserve Apera is offered at cask strength 59% ABV. The casks are from a renowned winery in South Australia. We loved this whisky just as it was, and decided it needed to be released at cask strength! Although this very special Apera Cask expression has a high ABV even by cask standards, it is surprisingly smooth and rounded. With this cracking whisky you can expect jasmine notes &
charred wood on the nose. Before hints of cypress tips, caramel and marzipan evolve. A Smoky whisky that has a bite. One distiller on our tasting panel described it as 'a whisky drinkers whisky that takes you straight to smoky whisky bars, a whisky that deserves to be savoured over time!!'
