The whiskey that opened our eyes to Irish as a serious sipping option: single pot still, aged in bourbon and oloroso casks. One of the best Irish whiskeys to nose, with creaming soda, white pepper and rye bread, then apricots, sultanas, malty toffee and sherry. Unctuous, oily and big in all the right ways.
