Old Orkney O.O.5 1999/2005 19 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

This is the fifth in our Old Orkney series. It's a 19 year old Orcadian single malt, created from marrying a v.05 refill hogshead with a v.99 refill hogshead. The mix was married for several months in a 3rd fill butt, before being bottled with modest reduction at 52%. It's a mature, but exceptionally fresh, vibrant, coastal and mineral profile of Orkney malt whisky, one that richly evokes the coastal rigour of these incredible islands.
