North Star TWL Rewards Spirit Character No. 3 Secret Highland (Park) 13 Year Old First Fill Barrel Single Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

With the return of North Star to Australia, we of course needed to get our hands on some sort of exclusive release. So we carved ourselves out most of a 13yo refill barrel 2012 Highland Park (I think the rest went to the Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh), at a nice, natural cask strength 58.2% ABV and for an absolutely fantastic price!

• Aroma: A burst of heather smoke and sea spray gives way to banoffee pie, and sun-kissed orchard fruit.
• Taste: Caramelised apple and smoky honey glaze over layers of spice and malt sweetness.
• Finish: Long, warming cinnamon spice, oak with a silky vanilla finish.
