North Star 2012 Glen Garioch 8 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

North Star Spirits are a Glasgow based independent bottler priding themselves on bottling only the finest Single Malt Scotch Whiskies, Blended Malt Scotch Whisky and Blended Scotch Whiskies. North Star specialise in artisan single cask whisky from all of Scotlands great Whisky regions. All North Star releases are small batch with no chill filtration and bottled at cask strength.

This single cask bottling of 8 year old Glen Garioch was bottled in April 2023 for the 22nd series release from North Star. The malt was finished in an ex-Oloroso cask producing 260 bottles.

Tasting Note:

Nose: Brown sugar, warm porridge with smashed blueberries

Palate: Cherry syrup and apples

Finish: Grilled citrus fruit
