“Single Malt Kanosuke” is distilled using a combination of our 3 unique pot stills and matured in re-charred American white oak ex ‘Mellowed Kozuru’ aged shochu casks. The non-chill filtered whisky is carefully blended based on this key malt before bottling, resulting in a release that will please both seasoned whisky drinkers and beginners alike.

About Kanosuke Distillery
Established in 2017, The distillery is located in Kagoshima Prefecture along the Fukiagehama beach (the longest sand beach in Japan). It was established by the Komasa Jyozo company, which has a long history of making shochu (a Japanese spirit) with the distillery beginning operations in 2017 under the watchful eye of president and master distiller, Yoshitsugu Komasa. The coastal weather of the East China Sea, gives Kanosuke whisky a unique maritime environment that influences whisky maturation.
