Club Qing 2010 Orkney 14 Year Old Single Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The second release in this series is an unusual 14-year-old single malt distilled at an Orkney distillery. While the distillery‘s name cannot be disclosed due to contractual obligations, it’s rather obvious what this is. This cask captured our hearts, even more so after its extended secondary maturation in a 1st fill fino sherry solera cask.

Imagine standing at the beach, with a breeze carrying the aromas of wet fishnet, dates, brine, wet rocks, minerals, and ash. The palate offers a unique combination of bubblegum, chicken soup, peat, ash, grilled vegetables, and minerals. It’s a distinctive profile that leaves a lasting impression.
