Amber Lane Noble Lane Australian Single Malt Whisky

This beautiful small batch whisky is a worthy second release of Noble Lane, the original of which won a gold medal at the World Whiskies Awards 2023. This superior expression showcases Amber Lane’s skilled use of American and French Oak casks, combining elements from the Bourbon and Dessert wine (Botrytis Semillon) traditions.

One of the secrets of Noble Lane is the infusion of two oak types: American oak followed by French Oak. The American oak (ex-Bourbon) sourced from Heaven Hill in Kentucky, contributes notes of vanilla, honey and sweet pastries. This is the foundation for this delicious expression, with many describing the experience of tasting this whisky as being like “drinking a vanilla cake”!

The French oak (ex-wine cask) contributes more subtle second tier flavours and textures, providing a gentle nuttiness, floral notes, and a pleasing wine-based tartness that creates a supremely balanced dram.

This unique expression can be enjoyed neat, but also has the power and richness to be enjoyed on the rocks for those who enjoy their whisky chilled.
