Club Qing 2009 Inchgower 15 Year Old Single Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Inchgower, distilled in 2009. It was initially matured in a refill hogshead, then transferred to a Solera-First Fill Oloroso sherry cask that has been in use for over 40 years, for a second maturation of more than 30 months.

This unique cask finish adds layers of complexity to the whisky, with notes of lemongrass, savory beef consommé, coastal minerals, berry jam, dried plums, banana, lychee, ripe peach, pickled olives, walnut liqueur, and Tiger Balm on the nose.

The palate opens with a burst of citrus, followed by peach, dried apricot, fresh mint, savory umami, milk chocolate, star anise, and licorice.
